This past weekend was full of excitement. Everyone was prepared and hunkered down for the downgraded hurricane Noel. We had wind and rain for most of the daylight hours on Saturday. I think the peak winds were from the northeast during the mid-afternoon at around 40 mph. The ferry ran all their trips and the island seemed unscathed with the exception of a couple downed trees. The sunset was very exceptional and can be seen on my photos. During the height of the storm I caught some great fish.

Sunday was absolutely beautiful, and I took my kids down to the race for a little fishing and adventuring.
